I think Metallica's contributions to this album are more like anti-noodling. Boringly static, with the more lively musical parts provided by Reed. Although I honestly couldn't tell your what the hell Kirk Hammett is doing on this album. I'm sure he's in the mix somewhere.

And I like the lyrics on this album. Qualifies as "for adults". Hetfield/the Table is the meme.

it's mad whack sure and I hate the anti-synergy between vocals and music but it's pretty unique and awesomely dense. There's a few serious riffs in here that dissolve into thrashing noise rock textures which I dig. It's definitely way too long, a could be cut.
