HammerFall are one of thiose bands you listen to, you listen to and then go onto another band, but you remember just how great HammerFall are, so you go back to them and you listen and you listen.....

This. I was meaning to listen to some more Stratovarius last time I was listening to power metal, but I couldn't bring myself to stop listening to Hammerfall.

Virgin Steele were a Long Island based metal band that steered into a power metal direction and early in their career covered ground that Manowar became better known for, whilst not having the awesome vocal chords of Eric Adams, Virgin Steele frontman David DeFeis could still belt out a song and it was on the band's third album Noble Savage that the band delivered there first true power metal album, whilst the album is full of holes there is enough good stuff on here to keep any avid power metal fan interested. Also when looking at any best ever power metal lists a couple of the more recent Virgin Steele albums often come-up (will be looked at much later on this thread) I also tend to find that on a lot of the songs on the album that singer David DeFeis sounds a bit like Kiss meets Def Leppard!

Probably the best track on the album.
