Okay first off..ATDI stands for At The Drive In...second off...RATM, and SOAD royally suck my left nut.

secondly, iron maiden is am amazing band. So up yours with a double edged sword.

And finally, this is not a thread about what bands are the best...its about some little ****wad hating metallica for all the wrong reasons.

boy i seriously dont like modern rock these days but U2 has kept rock alive thru 80's n mettalica has given songs like unforgiven and though their comeback wasn't good enuf but mettalica can never be called an alternative band.......u don't like music u like noise .....go bye a 50 cent Cd n u will get explicit LYRICS

I also wish you all would just shut the **** up about both Metallica and U2. They aren't even the same genre of music. You cannot compare the two. It does not work like that.

Uh, U2? I never liked them, they are really pop-like... And I will give them credit for keeping the music alive even today... Congrats Bono... Can we all at least give the guy credit... U2 Out-Populared Metallica in the long run... Hate to say it.
