True. But it was so ****ing long, I couldn't help but skim through it. It was only because of the first sentences that I even figured you were arguing against TheBig3KilledMyRainDog. >.<

Because I mentioned your name? xD
Hesher said that his opinion was more presentable than the ones you said belonged on the five pages of the same opinion. I stated that it was too long for me to even establish his full opinion. I'm pretty sure he was arguing against your point. =P |

Nobody said I wanted a five second post. I'm just saying I didn't even read your post through because there was so much going on. Your verbosity is very much appreciated as opposed to, "DOOD, METALLICA SUX" but I'm just stating that you had a lot to say. So your opinion wasn't as defined.

??? No Master of Puppets? Everybody's entitled to their opinions, but I'll Kill You. There. That's about all the fan boy rage I can muster since I'm not 13 anymore.

Master of Puppets is the first album I was recommended. I primarily couldn't stand the band because of the obsession most of my students have for them. But I was in the wrong, ah, Freshman year. xD

I can see what you're saying, The Black Album was the last piece of real genius that has come out of them however I don't see why you have to identify yourself as a old fan or a new fan, I listen to ...And Justice For All, Master of Puppets and indeed their new album, so what kind of fan would I be classed as? I just class myself as a Metallica fan. I don't understand why people say they don't like the band anymore because they aren't as good as they once were. The music they produced, we can listen to that for years to come but people - due to the controversy and them "selling out" etc. people decide to not appreciate the great music they made, I think I'll always love The Black Album. I'll be more than happy if they make the next album anywhere near as good as Death Magnetic. |
