All i said was he's boring, ok maybe a bit more, but my main point was hes boring.Boring boring boring boring. Listening to silence is more entertaining than thats guys voice.

I was kind of impressed when Lars took action against Sony Records when they tried to sue a band called "Beatallica".

Yeah I can't take it anymore, this thread exhausts me. Lots of bands put out crap in the end of their career. You don't **** all over them. They are one of the best bands ever, I havn't the time to fight with the cred starved.

Now those are REAL musicians, not, to paraphrase Kurt Cobain ,"corporate **** metal" that is Metallica.
p.s.: not to mention that they're real bitches in real life...i saw this documentary about them, and they were all talking about their feelings like some women...you won't see Zach de la Rocha or Cedric Bixler speaking about how " they've really grown as people and went through some tuff times but have talked about it and grew stronger.." yada yada...
i cudnt b arsed to read this but metallica rox napster sux

Metallica do have alot of money! but how the **** would you feel if you hadnt even finished writing a ****ing song in the studio and then you find out its being played over the radio across America? Metallica sued Napster not becuase they didnt want to lose money, but it was for control!

i think napster and other p2p programs are a great way for you to make sure you're not buying crap. it's ok for a band that's just starting to be against downloading music because everyone wants to become rich, but when you have a shitload of money like metallica does they have no buisnesss fighting a program which has the sole purpose to spread the word about good music
musitians should be awarded for making good music, but i think that leading a campagne against free exchange of music is wrong for artists who have record deals and are getting payed a lot of money to make an album regardless of it's sales
in any case, true metallica fans will always buy an album so , they shouldn't be bothered to even think about the people who only download and never buy one....
they should do a crazy gesture and maybe produce an album and just let everyone download it for free, they would loose a bit of money ( far less if they acctualy published the album on cd's and then distributed them for free ) but it would show that they like making music for music sake , not to make a couple of more milions....and i think that musitians that have to be locked up in a studio for a year or more, strugling to make something, should just stop making music, the inspiration has obviously gone and all they're doing is raping the music.....and trying to make more money......making music should be a breeze....not a struggle....
i shall say this again, the new metallica is " corporate cock rock"
