Well played (leaving out the new album). The debut is pretty good, the second album and covers album kinda ok-ish and the new album is poop. Or at least just not something I really felt like returning to at all. Bland. Sometimes mildly catchy. If I was a big fan, I'd have been pissed!
In know you're talking to Frown. Just added my 50 cent. |

Thirteenth Step is great but MDN is boring AF. I used to like eMOTIVe but not so much anymore. It doesn't hold up well at all.
I was super psyched for Eat the Elephant and kept up with the singles, and both The Doomed and TalkTalk really jiving with me. The actual album though sucks pretty bad and is more boring than the debut aside from a few stand out tracks. |

The band is decent and I think that it's Maynard's strongest pursuit in that there are good vocal melodies, but he's also the thing that I hate most about Tool, so yes.

I like Mer De Noms first and foremost tbh. I don't have much interest in anything else APC has done.
Fave song by far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XtG5SGL0Xw EDIT: I'm starting to think that there's a formula for how you can guess what my favorite song on any album is. Just go with the one that sounds the most "girly" and you're likely to hit the bullseye. |

![]() ![]() Obscure heavy metal band from Buffalo that I found this CD at a thrift store. Pretty damn good stuff, pretty classic sound but with some beefy guitar riffs to let you know that this is indeed a metal album from the 2000's. |

![]() ![]() First listen of a 2019 album, let's see how it goes. Haven't heard any of these guys' stuff after Stillborn. Sounds awesome so far though. EDIT: Unfortunately the rest of the album nowhere near measures up to the first song, which has such a killer hook. Most of the album is boring and monotonous, which is unfortunate coming from an old school giant. 'Trapped Inside' is interesting though, it has kind of an Anvil-esque riff put in a death metal setting. The last song 'Release the Soul' is good too. now I am on a new in 2019 chance listen, out of all bands who have released something new, I checked this one out fast, and so far sounds pretty interesting.
