lol I know it sucks, it's just a cheesiness that I can enjoy. With that said, he definitely became a much better vocalist later on. He sounds great on Courts of Chaos especially.

I really love that period just after the NWOBHM started releasing albums and before like 1986 in American metal when thrash wasn't yet codified and speed metal and power metal were cutting edge. Those bands were just the most metal bands to ever exist.

If I ever start a band we'll be a ****ty speed metal/black metal band who'll end every show with a Venom cover and before we do it everyone in the crowd will have to buy and chug a beer. Even Motorhead aren't such a perfect beer band.

It's not on Youtube, but the Thou half of the Ragana / Thou split from earlier this year is just so ****ing insanely heavy.

The last track (Death to the King and All His Loyal Subjects) is mind-****ing-blowing.

Prime Evil is no Black Metal but it's still a totally solid thrash album.

I'm probably the only person to think this, but Prime Evil is the best Venom album.

The hooks are incredible, and their cover of Megalomania is one of the best covers I've ever heard.
