Some morons ( including those from Metal Archives ) still believe that German thrash scene was more agressive and extreme than American.

The only true standout album of Slayer's modern career. Why can't they pull another one of these out of their asses?

I only listened to it a few times but it bored me for the most part. I might give it another chance soon since I might be on a bit of a Slayer kick atm. And on that note...

I think I've finally played out Reign in Blood, so I'm going back to my old favorite, Hell Awaits. The riffs are more sinister, the atmosphere is far more evil, and Tom Araya's vocal performance is just gloriously menacing. Slayer's first two albums and Haunting the Chapel are definitely my favorite period of theirs.
