I do too to an extent, but the amount of evil they've done for the genre outweighs the good of their few decent albums. They do have some monster tracks though that I would hate to lose.

i wish the roles could be reversed so like there was an abundance of super raw ass metalcore and then also some catchy scene kid stuff hidden in the underground.

metalcore basically had, and still has the potential to be the best thing to ever happen to metal music.

Trivium has plenty of amazing tracks. If they had continued to evolve after Shogun and not just become a stereotype of themselves then I would be all about them. Unfortunately they are Trivium and do not have the balls or talent to be anything else.

Like, yeah. If it was still the perfect synthesis of hardcore and metal that it was in the beginning then metalcore would forever be the perfect music for knocking heads.
