I actually remember liking Control Denied more than mid period Death (mid period Death really just does almost nothing for me). I was just mystified why someone who had made something as different as
Symbolic went on to make something as unoriginal as Control Denied. I mean, if you're bored with generic death metal vocals, that doesn't mean you should get a generic heavy metal vocalist.
