All Music reviews of the band more or less say the same thing.

Knowing you, don't let that stop you. You'd love them.

Talking of bands from that era, I keep listening to the debut Manilla Road album Invasion, what a classic.
Manilla Road - 02 Cat And Mouse - YouTube Pearl Jam lifted the vocals and guitar riffs right out of this song. Manilla Road - The Dream Goes On - YouTube

If Brian Johnson had played in a quasi-thrash band...they would have sucked compared to Accept.

I do not know.... I remember listening to them, the novelty wore off quick. Get past the parody and you are left with a typical Death Metal band that has been done to death. Even in the mid 90's this would be nothing new.
Cannibal Corpse though had their moments in the early days. "Eaten Back to Life" is a great album, I have grown to love it more than ever. Has that early Death Metal sound, which still owed more to Thrash Metal ("Scream Bloody Gore", "Altars of Madness" and "Slowly We Rot" also come to mind). Cannabis Corpse just seem like a parody of a band who became a parody of themselves as time went on. Would be like a parody artist who came out just to parody Weird Al. While it may be technically good, still just going to stick to the original, cause it seems less cliche now.

Ozzy-era Sabbath may be tops, but Dio-era Sabbath was no slouch either. One of their best songs with any vocalist.
