Also, their self-titled album from 2010 is very good actually.
I've heard all their albums except the latest and I rate the best three like so:

Never Neverland (Randy on vocals)
Alice in Hell (Randy on vocals)
Carnival Diablous (Joe on vocals)

The Randy Rampage is their best era followed by the Joe Cormeau stuff and when Jeff waters took over the vocals himself. Their period though with Dave Padden on vocals is poor though, especially with that crappy metalcore style he brought to the band.

it is not as stupid as this, but really close.

This one is stupid, but it is epic stupid.

and this one, is close to Pantera stupid, but this is actually a good album.

I would rank Apocalypse 2nd in these. Behind Pantera.

I almost posted the Pantera cover, but it was so bad that I couldn't actually believe it was genuine!

The Malmsteen one is truly awful. Rather like his million-notes-a-minute music.

I haven't really listened to much AC/DC in the last few years or so, but I just brought out an old copy of Dirty Deeds that I haven't listened to in years and years, and am rediscovering my love for AC/DC. Brian Johnson era AC/DC may be boring arena metal without any attitude, but Bon Scott era AC/DC killed.

If you like Aussie hard rock and metal from the 1970s, check out Buffalo a great forgotten band of that era.

Which albums did you listen to?

Did you get around to listening to the Angra albums with Eduardo Falaschi on vocals yet?

It was a joke. I haven't listened to any Buffalo yet. It was a joke about confusing the band Buffalo with buffalo meat. *sigh* Pearls before swine.

I've only heard a few songs off Rebirth, but I own Temple of Shadows. I didn't like Temple that much at first, but it really grew on me.

These albums show the band exploring the proggy side of power metal, Rebirth is competent but bland, Temple of Shadows is a better album and quite diverse, but its let down by a tinny drum sound and there are some bad cuts on the album as well. Aurora Consurgens is probably the best (just) less diverse than Temple but has more solid songs. The problem overall is that Eduardo Falaschi's grittier vocals just don't have the magic of Andre Matos's style of singing. Haven't heard their latest album Aqua though.

Is this one of the best metal albums ever recorded, hell yer. Bombastic singing, bombastic guitars and power ballads, they don't make 'em like this no more.
