There's plenty of pretentious, experimental metal I find cool but almost/exactly none that I find as satisfying as this braindead racket. **** smart metal. Moving forward artistically is just lateral movement anyway.

There is absolutely a dearth of centralized knowledge of early black metal that I feel like I should explore in a journal post or ten. It's weird how the 1st wave of one of the most famous genres of metal is still a wild west to all but the most obsessive of ****ty 80s metal fans.

Great closer from one of the best metal albums of the 90's.

I downloaded their 1991 self-titled album a while back and have no idea why. I guess I'll check it out.

Two minutes in and I realize why I forgot them. **** sucks serious balls. Why is there harmonica in corny 90s prog metal? Oh wait they're from Texas. Well okay then.

Yeah, who needs all that creativity and stuff. Blasphemers all!

They just sound like an even staler Dream Theater with even staler, adult contemporary production.
