Scorpions is actually a good match up given that they're a pop metal band that sucks even more than Van Halen.

Except they sound nothing like Van Halen. Being melodic metal does not mean you can be compared to all melodic metal bands. And 70s Scorpions can live.

Dokken sounds a lot like Van Halen.
