This album is going to be wicked if this song is of any indication. Like early Accept with a bit of USPM swagger.

The music sounds alright but I'm not a fan of the singer who sounds like the guy from 3 Inches of Blood. Rob Halford is the only guy who can do that.

Ant if that's your thing you should check out Traveler's self titled release from this year. It's definitely taking cues from that sweet spot in metal history before thrash developed but the USPM bands were getting grimy, fast, and rough. I think the winning thing about this band is the lofi production. Check it.

"War Ensemble" isn't even one of my favorite Slayer songs but Dave Lombardo coming in at 2:12 and laying waste for like not even two seconds is one of the hands down coolest things in all of Slayer or metal in general. Like, how do you perfect savagery so completely that you can put the entire rest of the song to shame in literally the blink of an eye?
