*shakes fist at BastardofYoung for bashing Heartwork and Slaughter of the Soul* This is such a stupid song, but gloriously so. And the riffs are just sick. Exodus has been one of my favorite bands since I was 14 and I will probably always buy their albums.

Shake all ya want. remember, it is all just my opinion. I just find those 2 albums to be just alright at best.
With Carcass, Necroticism was just so amazing, I wish they would have continued on with that... Heartwork just seemed like a step back. An influential one though, I will grant you. With AtG.... their first album is still best to me, the atmosphere on that album was never seen again.... If they could capture that type of sound and push it forward, it would be amazing what they could have done. Instead I think they made that one good album, and then dumbed it down more and more til they got Slaughter. Which was already so overdone when it came out, just felt like they said "screw it, let's just give people something polished and accessible, they will love it"

Wait, about Wolverine Blues? I've never even listened to it. Must have been about something else.

So, I've finally gotten around to listening to Exodus' newest album. Pretty much sounds like the last three, but that's no biggie. It's Exodus after all, and it slays, so it's all good. If I want musical progression, I'll listen to Slayer.
