This one somehow reminds me of Nirvana at their dirtiest.

That's a durn good album and needs more love from sludge fans.
For the past week I've been trying to narrow down a top 50 thrash list and it's been far harder than other lists. Now I'm just going through just about everything to see what absolutely needs to be on my list and I think this is one of them. Death thrash is great in general but techy death thrash needs more 1st rate bands like this. Those riffs slay and have textures that feel delightfully malevolent.

As for me, I listened to this for the first time today: Wild first wave black metal, with just the kind of nasty grime you would hope for. It's less than 30 minutes long, so I recommend it. The only low point was the hokey minute-and-a-half track of "Satanic chanting." It's so hokey and ruins the immersion of the rest of the album, which is fantastic. |

Why can't more silly retrocore thrash bands still kick this much ass? Except for the lack of corny Nuclear Assault riffs it's kinda the same thing tbh.

New Cult Leader album is the fuck
100% more expansive than the first with memorable mathcore moments and then loud and slow dirgecore https://cultleadermusic.bandcamp.com/ |
