Vile is legit one of the most underrated death metal albums ever. This is also one of the songs to get me into death metal. Corpsegrinder is definitely a top 5 DM vocalist. Dude sounds like a ****ing monster. He also gave me the horns after I crowd surfed at a show and that was... sweet.

The only other CC albums I've listened to in full are Gallery of Suicide, which I think I really dug, and A Skeletal Domain. But this is all sick now.

Check out Vile. It's not the most consistent for CC, but it's the first with Corpsegrinder and the band changed sounds pretty considerable so there's this really fresh, raw, super brutal sound that I can't think of any death metal album having and subsequent CC albums basically did the same thing but sounded much more polished. It's pretty ****ing great and will absolutely ruin your ****.

Oh and The Bleeding is a lot of fun. Chris Barnes' vocals were pretty deteriorated by that time but the songs were the poppiest true death metal would ever get without actually becoming "melodic". Even more of a trope death metal album than mid-period Deicide but way better. Just so much fun.

Rob Trujilo's are wasted in Metallica. Infectious Grooves needs a good comeback, as does funk metal in general.
