Shift is awesome though. That modern production makes those sludgy riffs hit mega hard, and their chill fun grind sound is great with that sludge. I guess it's an accessible version of powerviolence.

the standard of grindcore is good so all the bands are good

some cream of the crop grid imo = Gridlink, Discordance Axis, Pig Destroyer, Parlamentarisk Sodomi, **** the Facts, Flesh Parade, Agents of Abhorrence, Cellgraft, Antigama, Asterisk*, Captain Cleanoff, Watchmaker, Gadget, blah blah blah **** rules

Well that was a trip from start to finish. At first I wasn't crazy about it, and then it turned into what I can only describe as "extreme metal circus music," but the longer I listened the better it got. I felt completely absorbed by the end. Thanks for looking out, Frowny.

Been a minute since I listened to Antigama. Let me go check out Discomfort again.
