Couldn't develop an appreciation for the longest time, too. The only thing I liked was Dark 2.9, which I still think is a brilliant piece of dark ambient music. I started enjoying more of their work when I began seeing more of 2.9 in everything else.

If I had listened to Darkspace 10 years ago I probably wouldn't have cared for them. But luckily my exposure was maybe 3 years ago and they definitely nail the menacing extraterrestrial aesthetic.
