Yeah, bruh. You can post videos too. Just copy/paste the letters and numbers after the equal sign in the Youtube link and wrap it in Youtube tags.

(I used other tags to keep the Youtube tags from making this an embedded video but that's how it would look typed)

And DRI became less fun the more they thrashed up. Around Thrashzone they got downright boring besides select songs. This is the only DRI album you need.

^Thanks, though I thought I saw something about needing a certain amount of posts before I can post videos.

I've heard their early hardcore punk stuff, and wasn't really able to get into it much. I love the addicting and massive hooks of Full Speed Ahead. I do agree on Thrash Zone being kind of boring, but 'Give a Hoot' is one of the funniest songs they ever wrote.

"I give a hoot, but I still pollute"

Haven't heard that live album though, maybe I'd enjoy their early stuff in a live setting more.

I agree, after all an album cover is supposed to reflect what's inside right?

It's a pretty great album from when they were just starting to transition to thrash (after Violent Pacification I think) so you get the best of both worlds with all the energy that DRI apparently can't quite bring to their recordings.

^Yeah, needless to say I don't go on those forums anymore. What's a good thread without some excellent album covers such as this:

an absolute master class in cheesiness. Which speaking of, is there a thread on here for best/worst album covers?

Got a ton of death metal albums to listen to in the Death poll thread, but was needing a cheese fix:

Fighting the World will always be my favorite Manowar album, but 'Wheels of Fire' is an absolute masterpiece of shred.

Wait wait wait Fighting the World is your favorite Manowar album? I didn't realize that was a thing. The title track is god-tier but other than that it's... it's... yeah.
