It's one of about 4 COB albums I still somewhat care about.

They have a talent for being middling in all possible ways at times while still sounding like something you could potentially enjoy but they do have their moments of being the epitome of metal fun.

I used to have almost all their albums, but the redundancy is extreme. Got rid of half, and even then I've got trouble remembering which song is on which album. They're fun, but they need to try something new.

If I had to pick one COB track, this would be it:

There's no point in trying something new. They've done everything they're going to do. They're the kind of band who only exist for one album of skin deep fun. Hate Crew Deathroll is the only album I need from them and 99% will always be so.

If I could move the song above and maybe 1-2 other songs to Hatecrew Deathroll, I'd probably do just fine with that one as well.

The one thing they're memorable for afaic is bringing keyboards back to mainstream metal, but anything CoB do isn't really creative so much as notably fun.

Wasn't Opeth already doing that or are they not mainstream enough?

I could probably only get some nostalgia enjoyment out of Are You Dead Yet these days since I bumped it in middle school.

Am I being taken to task over my Children of Bodom fandom? Is this a thing that's happening?
