They're as unoriginal as any other generic power metal band, but they got hooks to die for and riffs with just a bit of actual meat on those bones. I don't have the best things to say about the rest of their discography, but their debut Heathenreel is the power metal album I listen to five times through when I need my PM fix.

It's no Dead Man Walking, and the vocals are sadly low in the mix, but still another fine album from Arkangel. But to be perfectly honest I think the fantastic title is worth more than the album itself to the band's legacy.
