I find it works for what it is though.

There are some pretty good lo-fi kind of records. I like that, Deathcrush is not really one of those though, the production is actually pretty good for a black metal album. I don't find it that same type of thing, listening to it, it feels professional.

I don't mean that the production is lo-fi, I mean that it's weak.

I find it works fine compared to what else was happening in that scene at the time. I think it is what "Morbid Visions" could have sounded like and been much better.

Just the coolest black metal/prog/whatever. Dose riffs.

I'm slightly obsessed with this album. Every time I listen to it, I uncover something new about it.

Kinda sounds like a watering-down of black metal without adding anything significant really.

Well that's because you suck donkey dick. It's black metal with all the best, non-****ty, hella fun parts of 70s prog, which shouldn't make me happy but does.

Mondo Bungle 11-17-2017 05:17 PM

he's right cuz HSN generally add extra significant stuff

**** this album is awesome. It's sort of like emo Slayer, yet not nearly as terrible as the former might imply.

The Batlord 11-18-2017 03:49 PM

Destruction rule and have made some great ****, but the best thing they ever did was 1:10-1:45 of this song. It's in fact one of the greatest things in all of metal, and is everything evil and threatening that thrash could ever hope to produce. Too bad it's such a ridiculously high watermark for any band to ever reach twice, or even once for that matter. This riff is simply that amazing.

The rest of the song is sick as well btw.
