I pretty much rate MM's discography in chronological order with the first being number one then decreasing slightly.
you might think this band is cool too... I'm listening to it anyway and I think they're vastly underappreciated cuz this album is huge I'm gonna copy what this guy on RYM said: "John Gossard and Sarah Weiner of atmospheric black metal legends Weakling followed up that project with this interesting little shift in emphasis. With Weiner shifting to drums to give the bass spot to Lorraine Rath and Ed Kunakemakorn brought in on vocals, The Gault applied Weakling's vast song lengths and epic structures to a fusion of doom metal and gothic rock, the latter tinged both with the shimmering sounds of ethereal wave acts like Cocteau Twins and the harsher approach of deathrock stalwarts like Christian Death. It's a complex brew, but somehow the band manage to work all of these influences into a cohesive sound which offers one of the most devastatingly melancholy goth-doom experiences out there." |

I haven't bought a physical album in years tbh. The only thing I really pay for anymore is Steam games. And I guess anime and TV shows since I have a subscription to Netflix and Crunchyroll.
