I won't apologize for loving the hell out of the remaster for this album. The low-end is way more intense and the drums are way more punishing. And Mustaine's vocals were always this nasally, so who cares.

Yes the production is weak, and yes, you're a wimp for not liking the album that contains "Ripping Corpse".

I was talking about Extreme Aggression.

I know, those two thoughts weren't connected. I was saying you're a wimp for not liking Pleasure To Kill.

It's okay. Some good **** but I can't say that I'm particularly drawn to it unless I've decided to give Kreator another shot at truly wowing me.

If this album had some better riffs (i.e. not short, edgy, chugging riffs), I'd actually enjoy this. As it is now, it's very bad.

Seriously though, it's like they didn't even try writing good riffs.

Excellent thrash album.

Anytime me and Blue Hawk agree you know it's fire.

Wpnfire 11-08-2017 02:57 PM

This is so much better than their early stuff.

I find myself going back to Arise more as well, possibly due to having the title track on an old mix CD from my high school days so the sound is ingrained in me a bit, and it's still a monster of a track. Chaos AD is still the ****ing sickest though. Modern hardcore with metal riffs to keep me caring more than I generally do with hardcore. Also a pretty unique metal album with a sound I can't get from anywhere else. Almost metalcore before metalcore really was a thing.
