Like, seriously, the best thrash riffs this side of Slayer and maybe Exodus. Except that Vio-lence's one good album is Exodus taken to their logical extreme.

OMG have you seriously never heard like one of the top 5 DM albums ever? The album that made me wonder why all these other DM albums didn't have blastbeats?

Years ago, and I didn't like it. I kinda forgot about it tbh. It has some unmistakable thrash influence, and yeah the drumming is probably my favorite part.

I seriously don't understand why more death metal doesn't have blast beats. Blast beats are ****ing fun and go so well with death metal, and a lot of early death metal simply doesn't have the intensity that would go way up with blast beats.

Fun thrash is some of the best thrash. So is proggy thrash with sick, texture-ific riffs. So basically thrash is the basis of metal as we know it today.
