One of the first metal albums I ever heard. Perfect early 80s metal.

It is a perfect album and I also think the same about Blessing in Disguise. But I don't like to compare since they're different eras and styles.
I don't think I'll ever not love Lizzy Borden for sweet 80s metal. And sure they dress all fancy with their funny hair and makeup but it hits harder than 95% of glam metal. Nice metal, what's the big deal. Catchy as nards. I used to listen to them so much |

Old thrash bands make the best groove metal.

I feel like Forbidden and their debut are pretty entry level in thrash circles, but otherwise are overlooked. They're not brilliant or innovative, just one of those highly solid 2nd wave Bay Area bands from the late 80s. The second album was a bit more of a leap forward for them, but the debut is just some pure thrash goodness that's also nice for the trad metal fans.
