Why people don't put this band above Deathspell Omega in the realm of French black metal, I shall never know. These guys are simply the best thing to happen to black metal since Burzum.

Mmmmmm. Candlemass. It tastes like sorrow and awesomeness.

Well, I'd place both bands in the trash. If I were to write a three thousand word essay on these bands, I'd just write "boring" three thousand times. Burzum are horribly overrated; the the s/t/aske is maybe 50% good tracks, and the proportion of wheat to chaff kept decreasing as time went on.

What's the best thing to happen to Black Metal since Burzum? The growing awareness that norsecore is ****.

Aarni - Myrrys

Very pleasant experimental doom from Finland. I've been digging the hell out of this lately.

If you love Blind Guardian and Iced Earth, then you need to listen to this side project by the vocalist of Blind Guardian and the rhythm guitarist (and chief songwriter) of Iced Earth.

...and I'm obssessed with Angra and this song reminds me a bit of a Squeeze song!!!! For those that don't know Squeeze, they were an English new wave band who were at their best in the 1980s and Angra are from Brazil.
