I hear death metal, black metal, melodic death metal, and god knows what else. I don't know how the **** to categorize this, but it's ****in' ace, man!

This is one of the most unique sounding Death Metal albums I have heard. The addition of violins give them a sound that is one of a kind.

One of the essentials in the style.

I've seen them live, it was...okay. The music was cool, but they were just reserved onstage. They came off as a support act rather than a legitimate world class metal band.

Really? I Love "Elegy".... but I think they had something really special on the first 2 albums.
