Why don't more people listen to Hirax? Ugly, raw, unpolished, and pretty much any other adjective you might use to describe metal that kicks ass. Thrash till death, bitches!

First time hearing Dragged Into Sunlight, hopefully their other stuff holds up to this GTT collab because this is fantastic.

Do you remember when we put up a GTT album for Trollheart's Torture Chamber and we were all flabbergasted that he actually liked it? Good times.

This sounds like Meshuggah if Meshuggah used riffs that were more than 4 notes/strings/fret positions and employed double bass drumming. In short, it's instrumental technical death metal with some atmospheric sludge sections thrown in and really good riffs. I haven't heard technical death metal this good since Gorguts' Obscura.

Have you heard this?

Also, Negativa and Dysrhythmia which both contain Gorguts members are definitely worth checking out.

I like how the vocals have that old school, pre-cookie monster sound. Even brutal death metal I do like has those same boring vocals and it needs to stop. And you all need to get into Benighted. One of the only modern brutal DM bands that actually sounds brutal.

I'll check it out. I love Crimson Massacre's guitars and in your face angular assault.
