Dat's da jam right there.

Oh and I can't remember if Poison have any more actually badass songs, but this right here makes at least one.

I haven't listened to this in so long the nostalgia is reaching critical levels. I remember listening to Lizzy Borden a whole lot. If you wanna call them glam metal then they're easily the best. But they're still heavier and edgier than a lit of that. I Kay think of it as heavy metal, with band members that happen to worship the Twisted Sister image. So catchy and great. They're first three or so albums are prime time in every way.
That's the ticket |
Great White, Poison, etc. were always fun, but for me as far as glam stuff went it never got any better than Heavy Bones in 1992. Vicious and delicious.

Anyone who says Motley Crue weren't the best glam band is wrong².

I think only Lizzy Borden's vocalist is glam

Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa was pretty boring, not many really grabbing moments, and it all just meshed together, so before listening to this one, my expectations were a bit low. But those expectations were slain because this album mad rules. Way, way mote dynamic than Darkly, it beat that whole album in like just 5 minutes.
So my expectations for the next one rose, combined with the positive things I've read, and it most definitely delivered again These are packed full of memorable hooks and pretty much every single riff is the best riff I've ever heard. They're black metal as hell riffs too, no doubt about it. Very intricate and precise guitar work, which was always my favorite thing about CoF |
Check out Russian CoF worship.
