I've been inspired once again to listen to some Phlebotomized, and wouldn't you know, this is still one of the greatest albums of all time. Who'da thunk it

It's avant-garde death metal but it's also not a bitch. If maudlin of the well are too boring for you, well this band is better anyway. Easily the best flute and violin work on any death metal album.

This ****'s a perfect 10/10. I hope that gives you squares enough incentive to blast it.

Stampin' Ground's last album is almost like a Slayer album recorded by a hardcore band, which isn't surprising since it's a Slayer album recorded by a hardcore band. And that's pretty much the best thing that ever happened ever. Those riffs are ****ing brutal, the vocalist sounds like he's in the middle of a Viking berserker rage, and the production is heavier than fossilized dog ****. SG are way too basic a band to be this ****ing brilliant.

Overkill: the only metal band whose live albums are quite possibly better than their actual albums.

I'll take Decade Of Aggression over every studio album by Slayer.
