new DEP is really cool. Been stoked since hearing about it, I loved One of Us is the Killer. This one isn't "more" experimental than any of their other albums, but there are a lot of experiments and risks that we haven't seen before. A lotta electronica influence

Sometimes I forget that Snapcase were so ****ing intense that they could light a match just by giving it the stinkeye. It's kinda weird to call them metalcore since they really don't sound like any other metalcore band. They sound more like post-hardcore or noise rock or something, but with a very heavy dose of mathcore. Or math rock so virulent that it might as well be. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have a page on Metal Archives, but they are far more worthy of headbanging than 99.9% of the bands on that site anyway.

I've never listened to them but this song is really badass (except for the interlude that's two minutes in, that was pretty disappointing).

This one wasn't that great though.

I expected t to be good but I didn't think it was gonna their best album. They haven't shrad this hard since Calculating Infinity, especially vocally. So you got that, and the out of the box experimentation is as prevalent and awesome as ever. I hope they like their high spot in my aoty list

Holy crap I have to agree. I've only listened once after seeing your post and this album ****ing cranks. There are a dozen genres in here but somehow everything flows.

Glad I'm not the only on here who enjoyed the new Dillinger album, I think with a little more time it could develop into one of my favourite releases from them. Shame to see them break up, but at least they went out at the top of their game.

This is what I've been cranking lately. It's not the most brutal metalcore, but I love how the band stay true to their hardcore sound. Also it's local so that makes it even better.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
