One of my favorite newer bands, Metastasis out of Chile. A sick cover of Sodom's Nuclear Winter ends the ep

Thrash revivalism from before the thrash revival was a stain on metal. This is music to actually bang your head to. If there was any justice Imagika would have been the leading band in the genre but I guess they were just too early. Maybe the best thrash album post-Nirvana.

TFW you're boning up on all that thrash you were too lazy to check out all these years cause you'll be damned if Wpnfire's thrash thread is better than yours. This is awesome BTW.

Holy ****. It's some primitive demo band that's like Reign In Blood played by Cro-Mags with a bit of mid-eighties death thrash. It's so raw and badass. I'm gonna be repping these dudes.

I consider you all bitches for not listening to Nasty Savage. Their lead singer was a wrestler who used to break TVs over his head onstage and they sound like a thrash metal Mercyful Fate. The first is actually more important than the second.

Anybody who didn't realize that before you said that needs to find out why their soul didn't follow them out of the womb.

OK, I've got a death metal song there.

This is superior.

The Erosion of Sanity by Gorguts. Gonna get used to Gorguts a little more before tackling Obscura, which is fairly high on my metal list.
