Been listening to this one a TON since I got it almost a month ago:

Be'lakor - of Breath and Bone
I'm really excited to finally listen to their new album, Vessels, so I was catching up to what I've missed before buying that.
Soon...

Always loved that album. In fact, I think it's among their very finest in spite of the somewhat cardboardey sound quality.

Doesn't have the appeal it once did for me, but it still gives some doom-y feels man.

What's this? 80s black/death/thrash metal? Of course it is. What other kind of band named Sacrilege would use an album cover like this in 1985?

A band that's actually a monumentally badass combination of crust punk and thrash, that's who! Whatever you think you should be hearing while listening to Sacrilege, you're wrong.

So not only does Quebec have a kick ass death metal scene, but apparently their black metal scene is bonkers too? Damn.

The metal archives tells me the lyrical topics of their music include Quebec nationalism and separatism which kind of makes me want to beat the band members up. Who really cares though anyway, because this **** rules.

I'm still lukewarm to Ozzy himself, but listening to more Randy Rhoads is making me kind of love his riffs.

Ozzy Osbourne - Believer

Frownland's recent post convinced me to finally get back on Sabotage by Black Sabbath. I don't remember much about it. But it's probably BS's most badass Ozzy-era album. Not sure it's better than Paranoid, though.

This is fast becoming one of my new all-time favorite records. Thrash or otherwise.

This is one of the perfect thrash songs.

Demolition Hammer - Human Dissection

Spoiler for Big Ass Album Cover:

The opening riff on this is why I listen to Slayer.
