Absolutely hideous death/doom. Crushing, malevolent, and blacker-than-****. This is death/doom how it should be.

One of the pinnacles of thrash, from the birth of thrash itself.

I dig Massacra, but this bonus track off their second album is better than any actual song they ever recorded. It's a rehearsal that's twice as long as the studio version, and it's not longer because they rewrote it. This whole thing just feels like one extended blast'n'grind where the band just let loose for six minutes straight without coming up for air or worrying about actually playing the damn song, almost like an anti-jam. It's ****ing violent and amazing and I could listen to it on repeat for god knows how long. Makes me wonder how intense they would have been live.

The shrieking vocals on this fascinate me.

Cool

Listening to lots of post-metal lately. instrumentals are where it's at for me. Artists include:

Plastic Mind Frequencies
Thessa
Clockwork
Outrun the Sunlight
Medda

They can all be found on the bandcamp app, I highly recommend.

Started listening to Every Time I Die the other day, and Ex Lives honestly blew my expectations out of the water. It's not the brutal, ear crunching metalcore I usually enjoy, but it still definitely has some hard hitting moments while also being ridiculous catchy.

When it's so loud that it just starts to hurt your ears, "Walk" is one badass ****ing song. Whether or not I like everything they've ever done, Pantera could stomp some asses into the dirt when they wanted to.
