Sometimes when a band is known for a thing, when they do another thing right, it can get overlooked. Carcass are known for grind, death metal, and melodic death metal, so when they create one of the most righteously heavy mid-paced riff-fests of all time, it doesn't get the same attention as "Incarnated Solvent Abuse" or "Heartwork".

Nah, they were always bad, they're just a band that knows how to make "good bad music". What they lack in originality they make up for in execution.
