I may not listen to a lot of Christian metal bands, but when I do they tend to be disproportionately more badass than the non-Christian ones.

Zao - The Ghost Psalm

The best power ballads of the 80s are Metal Church - God's of Wrath
Metal Church - Watch the Children Pray
Metal Church - Badlands
And
Ozzy Osbourne - Goodbye to Romance

"Watch the Children Pray" is the only one of those that could **** with "Starry Eyes", and it still really can't.

You had me itching to go back and listen to it. So I did. For those of you that have never heard the song, or gave Motley Crue much merit. Well...I think this song is a kick to your ballsack because it truly is a sorely underrated gem. I can't name many 80's bands that wrote a better ballad. But there are a few. I honestly think that it's a shame they'll never tour again. Of all the hair bands to finally hang up their gear and bid farewell. This one stung a bit for me. They had talent. They rubbed that talent in the face of other bands that did what their band couldn't. Some won't agree. But no difference to me.

Just in case you think I'm only listening to the wimpy songs...
