Dear god, whenever I listen to this album it just gets more and more badass. Botch and Dillinger Escape Plan are shoe-ins for my first votes for the metalcore battle in Metal Album Survivor, but after that it's gonna be like murdering kittens.

Playing Too Fast for Love. I'm going to prepare for the Rock Album Survivor by listening to most of what's on there. Motley Crue's my favorite glam band. I don't aqree with some of their imagery, but I like a lot of their songs.
Actually, does anyone know this story? One of the band members invited his producer over, and was looking in a magic book to look for song ideas. He spoke an incantation, and a knife flew on the cieling. He stopped using satanic lyrics right then and there. |

This was glam metal personified before it was even a thing. In 1981 Motley Crue defined what would become the entire eighties with one song, and if the world was fair this would have been a good thing. Either way this was one of the best songs of all time.
Whatever the outcome this is pure rock'n'roll badass awesometasticness, and it's probably better than whatever whiny Arcade Fire bull**** you're stroking your ironic beard too. Oh my god there are so many pussies on this site.

Regardless, The Dirt is still one of the most entertaining books I have ever read, and will make you love their singer if for no other reason than because of his tale of his young daughter's death from cancer. You can't not like a guy who's daughter dies from cancer before she can even go to school. It's just impossible.

Oh, and if you think your band doesn't suck, then think again. Cause Motley Crue exists. So you suck. Even if Nikki Sixx is doing the devil horns incorrectly.

I didn't like Shout at the Devil. The first couple tracks were good, but every song had thesame basic layout, and it felt like listening to the same song over and over again. I liked Too Fast for Love, and Dr. Feelgood is a fave.
By the way, 3000th reply. I'll be on a White Lion marathon tonight, a short marathon. Last edited by JGuy Grungeman; 01-13-2016 at 11:37 PM. |

OK where the f)ck! is the Batlord!!!
Considering he is one of the only regulars on this forum with personality he better not be f)ckin banned!!! Its bad enough that JWB was banned (one of the only people on here that made the forum interesting) but the Batlord?!? If he deleted his account in a Bathorian rage than that's fine, but if he was banned, well then... |
