Great band, great music, great albums, great dudes. They were even good when they flirted with nu-metal. Robb Flynn doesn't chase trends. Trends chase Robb Flynn. Davidian is even more badass when you hear it live. I have many times in person. |

I don't post any of this stuff in the other what are you listening to thread, because I put any sort of 'heavier' or 'heavy' music in general, here.
Epidemic. I thought these guys had some smart lyrics. They faded out after just one somewhat big album. Just didn't have the fire to grow in to a band that I think they could have been. I don't know why but I thought these guys were some weird alt metal/nu-metal bastard child of the then younger The Porcupine Tree. I still can't figure out why I still think that same thing. But I guess maybe in Epidemic and their music, I heard somewhat of an interest that the band wanted to go that direction. Batty, save me the reply that this is garbage. This guy gives no sh*ts lol. |

I can not remember if I said this here before, but this is my favorite album ever. The best collection of guitar riffs ever made by anyone. If somebody asked me what chaotic technical metal sounded like, this is the album I would play for them.

On a completely different note, these albums are both very good. Through Silver In Blood in particular is good, but also weird. Why are the tracks so long and why is there a track composed of samples and weird noises? I'm not complaining though, as the entire album sounds very evil. |
