Been listening to Exodus Fabulous Disaster a ton lately...one of the best thrash albums ever I think. Verbal Razors is my favorite song off the album.

"As the blood begins to splat
On his sweater and his hat
His rotted mouth smiles as you die
His color's red and green
His skin's not what it seems
He rips at it and tears off his own flesh"

I don't know if this song is in the Top Ten Most Badass Metal Songs of All Time, but it's definitely got a knife in the fight.

When it comes to this kind of heads down, working class metallic hardcore, pretty much everyone are fighting for second place after Arkangel, but Stampin' Ground are pretty bitchin' heel snappers.

DEP's mathcore songs are pretty hit-or-miss with me, but their... alt metal(?) songs tend to be some of the best songs I've ever heard in my entire life. "Milk Lizard" was the first Dillinger song I ever heard (from Saints Row 2) and it fooled me into thinking that they might be my new favorite band. They were not.

My experience seeing them live is still preventing me from bothering to explore their discography more. So I'm barely bothered with interest with Dillinger in general. I think their music is fine. But it's their singer and the way he gets such a bruised ego if someone in the crowd boo's his band. You'd think that being around as long as Dillinger has, their singer wouldn't let something petty like that get under his skin. It's like...ignore that moron in the crowd, play your show.

I've never been heavily interested in Parkway Drive. But I bought their new album IRE because Destroyer got me interested enough to do so. The album is actually not too shabby at all. Destroyer almost has this nod to oldschool Metal and they pulled it off well enough. The entire album is solid enough, maybe three songs or so I don't like much so good enough.

I said enough a lot I just realized...

To this day I have played this album, at most, one time all the way through. My brain cannot handle the awesomeness at around the 5th track and I pass out trying to listen to the rest.

So you continually miss out on the best song (the last song)?
