Leng T'che sound exactly like what Aborted should sound like: deathgrind with some Pantera groove, but without the awkward melodic death metal touches and toothless songs.

Found these guys about two days ago randomly on iTunes. They play this Metal right? But it's got Jazz in there too, and it is f*cking awesome in its outcome. Neat sound that I haven't exactly heard before. Right up my alley though, as I like bands that are different or stand out. Check'em out.

Blackjazz, which according to Batty was hot **** around here, seemed much more energetic.

I sort of agree? I like the new album, but I guess I'd say that I sometimes get a little bored, I think they should have made the songs not sound so similar to one another. I prefer Blackjazz for sure. |

Honestly I think they're better when they're playing more to the industrial metal side of their sound rather than the jazz metal side. Of course, that's also when they're more accessible, so it could just be that.

I know what you mean because I get the same impression when listening to them. However I also think that if the worked at it more, they could get the jazz aspect of their sound to blend better or be more cohesive with everything they've got going on with their sound. I think Shining has potential to do something pretty impressive. Time will tell.

Dat riff, yo. I'm sad that they ended up going in a more Rob Zombie-ish direction after this album.
