It is, but given the genre's reputation with so many metalheads, I don't think it or the band are given as much love as they would otherwise.

Give it time, it has enough notoriety to be remembered fondly in the future at least.

I still kick myself for missing this show at the old After Dark club here in Houston

Wait. You calling me a virgin to this forum Mondo?

I'll gut you like a fish.
I've been browsing this forum for about 3 years now. I just don't like the Deftones.

Anyway, how many "cool points" did I earn, Batty?

I've been there.

Converge is kind of the same for me, sort of just listening to only their material and loving it.

Metalcore should not be ignored, irregardless what some say about it.

haha, well here is your shiny gold star for your three years of unregistered browsing.

Don't read too much in to that post though. Get used to getting flicked your own share of sh*t by the way, or you'll disappear like others before you that couldn't take it.

It occurrs to me that while I classify myself as a fan of death metal, I know of, at most, only 11 bands that play it.

Best black metal I've heard from this year, but that list is admittedly small.

Some more new Trivium. Liking the direction they're going so far. Really hope it won't disappoint me like their last album.
