I think what might have been even weirder, is if Japan had produced a grindcore band that sounded like a grindcore band.

Oh my...! This is something special right here, and I don't say that very often about anything that has to do with Tolkein. That creature behind the logo is also ****ing awesome.

Isengard is great. My favorite song by them is "Ut I VannetsDyp Hvor Morket Hviler" from the same album.

This is what I'm listening to at the moment

Insomnium, Sampling every single song, really liking them so far. Just my type of metal. Here is solid one I'd like to showcase.

When you get stoned and listen to Sleep you can really tell why they call it stoner metal

I don't love Rage Against the Machine, though they certainly do have their moments, but "Killing In the Name" is simply one of the most badass songs of all time.

I've been rediscovering some bands lately (as in listening to albums I haven't heard from them) and I'm pleasantly surprised I'm liking Threat Signal more than I thought. Scratch that, I'm not surprised, but after a trail of bad rediscoveries, I felt surprised. I pretty knew I'd find something I like from these guys.
