The three first songs on that album are among my favourite metal anythings.

I'm not the biggest fan of Sadus' first album, as I see it as a not as good version of Kreator, but their later, more complex stuff, is some pretty tasty brutal thrash. Oddly enough, I'm also not as big a fan of when Kreator's post Pleasure to Kill work, as they sacrificed a lot of their ferocity for more complex material that was more hit-or-miss. Terrible Certainty had some fantastic songs, but it also had some boring ones. Of course, Kreator also aren't exactly my fav thrash band. Just one I dig.

Have you seen Kreator live?

One of my Power Metal favourites, though it obviously has influences from outside Power Metal. Yes, I know Blind Guardian and the singer in this band does sound a lot like Hansi, and BG is my favourite PM band, but this is absolutely undeniably great.

I spent a lot of time listening to stoner doom, and now I am going back and discovering I abandoned classic doom a little too soon. In my defense, Electric Wizard are just a tad difficult to stop listening to.

btw, badass name for a metal song, "Zombie Hunger." Genius.

Saint Vitus is pretty cool, I listened to their first two albums recently.
I prefer Stoner Sludge though.

At the moment I'm listening to the first Carcass album, back when they were Grindcore. Pretty cool, but before this I listened to Discordance Axis's ''The Inalienable Dreamless''', and that was way better grind.

I..don't get it. To my ears it just sounds okay. Plus it's a long song, and I prefer shorter ones.
Like, why does everyone like Burzum so much?
