Not sure whether Sounds of the Animal Kingdom is going to slowly become my favorite Brutal Truth album or not. It's definitely their most original and most interesting, but kind of hard to listen to at times, especially with that muddy production.

But then there are times when this album just rocks in a twisted version of an infectious rock 'n' ****in' roll song. Their "singer's" highly noticeable Southern accent really gives those songs a fun vibe.

Most intense metal song of all time? I'll let you decide.

How anyone can prefer Lamb of God's relatively tepid, weakly produced, boring later work to Burn the Priest and New American Gospel, I shall never know. This **** is ten times as vicious, heavy, and brutal.

I didn't know doom could be this sickly and awesome.

Also that cover wins most ominous album cover ever. The album logo seals the deal.

No matter how superb the rest of the album is, this is my favorite moment (followed by the next track, which kills)

Their EP/demo is just as good if not better, check it out too
