Melancholy black metal. I like them, worth posting since I haven't seen anyone else bring them up.

Well I guess it's time for me to listen to some death-doom, but this is some of the sickest stuff I've ever heard! It's one of those rare songs where I do not like the vocals, but the instrumentation carries the song, holy ****.

Wow some Pantera that doesn't suck. This is actually pretty good. Ugh, the production of this album is so bad after listening to Beyond Driven.

Priest is one of those bands that I forget about for a long time, then come back and realize how jaw droppingly good they can be. I mean damn, this entire album is melodic and progressive and I don't really like either of those things, but these riffs make everything sound so bad ass.

There is no meaner death/doom band than Obituary. Heavy as ****, and yet they've got that Florida death metal viciousness. And John Tardy is just one of the greatest DM vocalists ever.

Great title for a death metal song too. Explicit, yet simple and direct.

The above song is sick, though I'm still for Coffins as the heaviest band ever.
