Remember listening to this and feeling underwhelmed, giving it another try now. I like Ozzy with Sabbath, and on their eponymous debut especially I think his vocals actually work, but here they're just terrible. Randy Rhoards totally rips, though.

^ Never seen the appeal of that song personally. Ozzy is without a doubt awful. The guitars are the best part, yeah.

Listenin' to the whole album, and I think "Crazy Train" might be one of the standouts. That's not really a good thing.

"Mr. Crowley" kicks a little more butt, though.

I've been spinning the new Machine Head album for over a week now, still not bored with it, never will be bored with it. They truly released a landmark album for their career with Bloodstone & Diamonds, straight up, kickass Metal driving in your brain like a drill. This is just a taste.

I've listened to a lot of new Metal this year, all across the board of it. And nothing has been this good. So much good things going on with this record. I feel that Machine Head have really honed their craft to near perfection, and they can only go up from here. Another thing to mention is that I have heard Rob Flynn really stepping up as a singer. His voice is just so powerful now and he really has become one of the best frontmen in Metal.

The only song I can think of where Ozzy's voice really suits his music is "Flying High Again", and I think that's because he puts less of his actual personality in the song, and just sings like a metal singer. He just ends up coming off like a parody of himself normally. Like he's saying, "Hey, remember how crazy my **** was with Sabbath? Man, aren't I just wild?"

This song destroys all! That booming intro is sooo heavy.

One thing I hate about this album is that once you put it on, before you know it, it's over, and you have to decide whether to put on another Slayer album or just play this one again.

Alright, so my friends and I decided to listen to this in our little album club. **** that decision. This is crap, and it lasts for over an hour.

Now I feel unclean for listening to false metal.
