If this song only had some more hardcore lyrics, this might be my favorite song ever. I've literally formed an addiction to that riff, like I NEED to hear it once a day for me to continue living.

Don't listen to much grindcore, but I thought I'd throw this on as an experiment. Holy **** this **** is intense. puts pretty much every death metal album I've ever heard to shame in terms of sheer brutality. And that guitar tone. Perfect balance of heaviness and buzzsaw-like abrasiveness. This is definitely gonna be a goto album when I'm overloaded on Kylie Minogue.

@ Mondo

****, talking about doomy death metal how could I forget Fleshcrawl. Kick ass and with a vocalist that sounds like an even more ****ed up version of David Vincent from Morbid Angel.

That opening (((not the first minute, but from 1:00 to like 1:50))) is literally the epitome of awesome moments in heavy metal. Like, the legacy of bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin have been building to that moment and to that minute of awesomeness, I believe that.

If you dig that kind of thing you should totally listen to Morbid Saint. As good as or possibly even better than Exhorder, and with a much better vocalist to boot.

HOW THE **** DOES THIS ALBUM KEEP GETTING BETTER???

This album makes Reign in Blood look like sissy stuff, and that's NOT a joke.

I've been thinking about this and I'd say that was a fairly accurate description for me maybe a month ago, but I feel like now I'm more of a , "fighting in the streets with my chainsaw" metalhead.

I'm a 'fight people who make fun of my dragon with a bayonet' kind of metal head.

Hey so for Venom's first album, is it "One Thousand Days OF Sodom" or "One Thousand Day IN Sodom"? I just got the physical album today and the song is listed on the album using "Of", and that pretty much trumps everything, but even the Metal Archives have it using "In" and not "Of".
Also, "Live Like An Angel", or "Live Like An Angel (Die Like a Devil)"?
This ****'s driving me nuts.
